InterVISTAS/NACO and Royal Haskoning/DHV Gold Sponsor the 2014 European Aviation Conference

InterVISTAS, NACO and Royal Haskoning/DHV are gold sponsors of the third European Aviation Conference to be held in Amsterdam on November 6 – 7, 2014. This event is the premier economics and public policy conference in aviation and is entitled Aviation Infrastructure Capacity: too much or too little?

Lack of aviation capacity as well as overcapacity in aviation infrastructure simultaneously exist in many countries. Can capacity utilization be improved by better air traffic forecasting, new slot allocation methods, more flexible planning techniques and better social cost benefit analyses? These are just some of the issues that will be addressed during this conference. World class speakers will present leading cases, alternated by lively debates among experts from academia and the aviation industry.

The conference will take place at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and will be hosted by the Schiphol Group and co-organized by Airneth, the German Aviation Research Society, the University of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. There will be a German Aviation Research Society Workshop immediately before the conference, on November 5th.

Dr. Michael Tretheway, InterVISTAS’ Chief Economist and Chief Strategy Officer, will present the opening and closing remarks on Day 2 of the event.
