George Hohlacov joins InterVISTAS Consulting as Senior Vice President

George is a seasoned strategic aviation and airport leader who brings thirty-five years of international experience in public and private sector, on both the client and the consulting side, with in-depth air traffic and transportation knowledge of all aspects of civil aviation and airport planning and development, management, and operations. Natural leader and tactful collaborator with extensive people, business, and technical skills. Highly effective in managing and delivering complex airport projects and programs. Nimble, agile, and innovative in anticipation and response to ever changing aviation industry environment, with proven skills in developing and motivating diverse and multi-disciplinary teams and in building and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relations. He is focused on providing competitive and financially sound solutions that meet or exceed clients’ expectations.

Prior to joining InterVISTAS Consulting, George was Director of Airport Planning for the last five years at Denver International Airport where he led the airport planning for the multibillion-dollar capital development for Denver International Airport, the 3rd busiest airport in the US by annual passengers in 2023 with 77.8 million passengers and the second largest airport in the world by land area with six runways and over 660,000 aircraft operations in 2023. Prior to that, he led the airport planning for over six years at Toronto Pearson International Airport, the busiest airport in Canada, delivering the 2017-2037 Airport Master Plan. George also served as International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Airport Master Planning Expert advisor to the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) related to master planning and development of over twenty existing and three new airports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He had his own aviation consultancy and has led airport planning and research at Manchester Airport Group in the UK and was the lead airport planning engineer at Vancouver International Airport

George brings to InterVISTAS a diverse set of experiences leading airport master planning and land use planning studies, runway planning, noise impact, terminal and concourse area development, de-icing studies, cargo market and development studies, landside planning, regional land use and transportation planning, as well as mobility and transit planning, airport economic impact and feasibility studies, and developing airport capacity and capital investment plans. His core strengths are Aviation Planning & Development, Airport Master & Land Use Planning, Capital and Operational Budget Planning, Strategic and Business Planning, Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement, and Program Management.
