Comox Valley Airport extends InterVISTAS‘ contract for another year. The scope of work will include air service development, an air fare study, and strategic support.

Baggage recheck elimination could dramatically improve the ability for flight connections through airports. InterVISTAS‘s Solomon Wong and his team completed a study that was recently published by the US Transportation Research Board (ACRP Report 61). The study looked at new technologies and present opportunities to better manage border risks while allowing international passengers to connect onto their flights without baggage recheck. InterVISTAS Acts as Transaction Advisor for Zagreb Airport International Company’s Deal for New Terminal

The Croatian government has awarded a €324 million (US$423 million) concession contract for the construction of a new terminal at Zagreb Airport to the Zagreb Airport International Company (ZAIC) consortium. InterVISTAS acted as the transaction advisor to the deal which will lead to a new terminal capable of handling 5 million passengers per year (up from 2 million). InterVISTAS has signed a new agreement with the Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC) to provide sustainability advisory services. VCC is a recognized leader in sustainability within the industry and IVC will help them shape their sustainability strategy by facilitating a number of sessions, compare their efforts against other convention centres and evaluate supporting frameworks.

Congratulations to Kilimanjaro Airport Development Company on Securing Qatar Airways Air Service

InterVISTAS congratulates our client, Kilimanjaro Airport Development Company, on securing new air service with Qatar Airways. Beginning in July 2012, QR will operate daily flights from Doha to Kilimanjaro via Nairobi using A320 aircraft. The Doha hub is ideally situated to provide access from around the world to Kilimanjaro International Airport – the gateway to the Serengeti and the Northern Tanzania safari circuit.
