InterVISTAS developed and implemented an air service development and marketing program for Incheon International Airport (Seoul, Korea). This project included the completion of comprehensive passenger, cargo and community studies in advance of the implementation of the marketing program.
The cargo study comprised primary and secondary research to analyze Korean foreign air trade, including the sources, value, and destinations of Korean air imports and exports at the commodity level. The study also forecast aggregate international cargo traffic at the new airport.
Based on these studies, InterVISTAS identified target carriers and developed passenger and cargo presentations for Incheon. These presentations to carriers around the world were designed to highlight the potential of the Korean market and Incheon as the premier hub in Northeast Asia.
