Frankfurt-Hahn (HHN) Airport is the German base of Ryanair and has enjoyed the formidable growth of the leading European low-cost carrier. The current terminal buildings have struggled to cope with this growth. Retail revenues have suffered due to lack of space.
InterVISTAS was assigned to create a retail master plan for HHN in conjunction with its sister company NACO, which conceived a smart redesign for the current passenger terminal during its remaining lifetime.
InterVISTAS’ Retail and Real Estate team was brought in and delivered a workable, affordable and highly effective concept. Revenues in both terminals rose considerably while the retail and food & beverage offer and atmosphere expanded and dwell time increased.
