As the nation of Afghanistan rebuilds, having a viable safety and security oversight system in place is one of its key aviation goals. The first step in that process is the development of a modernized national civil aviation law and civil aviation regulations that provide for oversight of aviation operations while fostering the development of aviation services for the Afghan people.
InterVISTAS worked closely with the Ministries of Transport and Civil Aviation and Justice in Afghanistan to develop and draft a modern national civil aviation law and a complete set of updated, ICAO-compliant civil aviation regulations.
In addition, InterVISTAS personnel drafted policies and guidelines to foster competition and growth in the civil aviation sector.
The InterVISTAS team provided Afghanistan with a national civil aviation law and regulations that will serve as the foundation for a complete ICAO-compliant civil aviation safety and security oversight system.
