Douglas Hofsass

Douglas Hofsass brings over 30 years of leadership experience in airport, airline, and business aviation operations, with expertise in operational execution, strategic planning, safety, security, and risk management. He is recognized for building strong operational and policy partnerships across large networks and for addressing complex industry challenges through effective collaboration and information sharing. Doug has held senior executive roles in both the private sector and the U.S. Federal Government, overseeing key areas of aviation operations, planning, and enforcement. He was also a principal incident responder for United Flight 93 in Pennsylvania, working alongside FBI, NTSB, and FAA partners. Doug studied at Pennsylvania State University and the University of Central Florida and is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute. He also holds a career Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Senior Executive Service (SES) appointment.
