BUSINESS CASE

2027 Master Plan, Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR)

Challenge: Between 2001 and 2006, InterVISTAS was contracted to develop a 20 year Master Plan for YVR's airside infrastructure, ground access and terminal facilities, incorporating a 40 year outlook on key trends in economy, society and aviation.

Approach: InterVISTAS multi-disciplinary team developed a project definition report and provided forecasting and analysis of macro trends, environment noise projection, census data analysis and other quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Outcome: The 2027 Master Plan covered all facets of airport operations management and development.
