Harbour Air Carbon Neutral Strategy

The Challenge

Harbour Air saw an opportunity to increase sales and customer loyalty by becoming a carbon neutral airline. The B.C. Provincial Government has also developed a purchasing policy which favoured carbon neutral vendors.

Our Role

InterVISTAS helped Harbour Air achieve this by advising on how to reduce carbon emissions where feasible, and purchasing verified carbon credits to offset the emissions that could not be eliminated.

Results

Benefits include:

  • Increases in revenues despite the recession.
  • Increased market share, particularly within Government and Corporate flyers.
  • Increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.
